This edition of 2 volumes comprises documention of site specific art projects realised along the River Trent in Nottingham, curated by Jennie Syson from 2006-2010. Hinterland was an examination of a specific geographical quadrant encircling the city and its waterways. This study took the form of a series of temporary installations, research evens, exhibitions and performances. Each artists' project plotted a course which traversed town, countryside, and suburb via a network of streets, waterways and cyclepaths.
